Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-8 and Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 334220, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This is a ?Brand Name? requirement for Sony Electronics, Inc products. The requested delivery schedule is within 45 days after receipt of an order. Offerors are to provide a delivery schedule with their quotation. FOB Point is Destination, and the designated delivery location is DODAAC: FB2029/9 Account, DDHU Hill Facility, Central Receiving, Bldg 849W, 5851 ?F? Avenue, Hill AFB UT 84056-5713. Responses to this notice shall be in writing and make reference to this RFQ. The following is a description and part number of the Sony requirements: 115 each of the Sony GVD 800, Digital-8 Walkman with 4? Screen. This is a Small Business Set-aside. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Alt I), with its quote.
