- Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify Basic Ordering Agreement, N00024-00-G-5231, with ITT Industries, ITT Gilfillan Division, of 7821 Orion Avenue, Van Nuys, CA 91409 to extend the ordering period for one year from the current authorized expiration date of 31 December 2002. Orders will be issued for evaluation and implementation of AN/SPS-48 (V) product improvements, software programming changes, design and testing associated with equipment changes and to conduct special-studies, surveys and analyses. Under the BOA orders may also be issued for AN/SPS-48 (V) Radar System and system peripheral equipment repairs, repair parts, Field Change Kits (FCKS), alterations, overhaul, refurbishment, engineering services and support for installation and checkout. As the design agent and sole manufacturer of the AN/SPS-48 radar, ITT Gilfillan is the only known source capable of providing these services. This BOA will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). ?Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and the benefit of potential subcontractors. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein.
