Description

NA The PROJECT SCOPE is revised to read: This is a design/build project. The estimated cost of construction is in the range of $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The work will consist of installing a wastewater collection system, upgrading an existing wastew ater treatment plant. Construct airfield improvements to an existing facility. The improvements will consist of a primary parking apron capable of accommodating C-130 and C-17 aircraft. Aircraft clearance criteria shall be used to manage modifications a nd improvements of the existing facility. Plus, demolish two existing buildings and construct one building. A site visit will be held one week after the RFP is issued. The PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS are revised to read: Delete ?A list of prime contractor s will be published at the Transatlantic Programs Center internet home page after release of the solicitation???. The bidders list and the RFP will not be available on the internet. A written request must be submitted for the list and RFP. The SOLICITAT ION PROCEDURES are revised to read: Delete reference to Defense FAR clause 252.236-7010, Overseas Military Construction. This clause does not apply to this project. The new TENTATIVE date for issuance of the RFP is 2 October 2002. The new TENTATIVE dat e for receipt of proposals is 5 November 2002. The new TENTATIVE contract award date is 3 December 2002. PLEASE NOTE: If you have already responded to the original announcement of 23 July 2002, do not respond again. Your original response is being reta ined.
