- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F1335922260300 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-09, DCN 20020730. This solicitation is unrestricted. This acquisition falls under Standard Industry Classification number 3613, the North American Industry Classification System 335313, and the Business Size Standard or number of employees under this code is 750 employees. This combined synopsis/solicitation consists of ONE line item. The contractor is to supply all labor, materials, tools and transportation necessary to provide: LI0001: NEW VERTICAL RISER BUS FOR 4-HIGH FEEDER STACK (2 each), ALL CONNECTORS, DIVIDERS, BUS COVERS AND ASSOCIATED MATERIAL FOR CONNECTION OF FOUR ( 4 ) 1600 amp BREAKERS TO NEW VERTICAL RISER, BUS MATERIALS TO CONVERT THREE (3) BLANK COMPARTMENTS INTO BREAKER COMPARTMENTS. Existing switchgear; General Electric Low Voltage Switchgear Model AKD8 Outdoor, Walk In Lineup 277/480 Volts AC / Wye 4000 Amp Copper Bus. Contract # DACA63-89-C-0139. installation # 75 D 704902. Dist. Order # 810-900559AA. Three ( 3 ) BLank Compartments. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52,212-1, Instructions to Offerors ?Commercial. The place of inspection by the Government and delivery point shall be LACKLAND AFB, TX 78243. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies to this solicitation. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. After offerors have been determined technically acceptable overall price is the evaluation factor. The following additional FAR provisions and clauses do apply: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision will not be considered. FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and will be incorporated into the Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, to include clauses (b), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15); DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. (CCR); DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions ( Dev ). The CCR website is http://ccr.gov.
