- Description
- The 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Cytyc Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procurement is for the ThinPrep Pap Test Package and is the only FDA approved item for use with the ThinPrep 2000 Processor to be used at Scott AFB IL. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 17 Sep 02. All contractors who wish to do business with the DOD must have CCR registration, to register call CCR a 1-800-227-2423 or via the Internet at www.ccr2000.com. A determination by the Government not to compete this purchase order based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22. *****
