Description

This is a presolicition notice for commercial services. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for the modification and relocation of a 500 KVA generator located in Building 5595 on Lackland AFB Texas in accordance with Statement of Work. The NAICS code is 335312. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR can be obtained by accessing www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423. ****CHANGE ****Lackland AFB intends to issue a Sole Source purchase order to Holt Power Systems for the modification of a 500 KW Catepillar generator. This includes changing the output voltage and controls and providing an enclosure. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however all quotes received within 5 calendar days after publication date of the synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Submit written offers via FAX (oral offers will not be considered) to Fax number (210)671-3179 to Guadalupe A. Murphy at (210)671-1725, or e-mail to Guadalupe.Murphy@lackland.af.mil. The due date is 15 Sept 2002 at 16:00 (CST). No solicitation document exists for this requirement. Requests for the same will be considered non-responsive. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to Holt Power Systems.
