- NONPERSONAL SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, equipment, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary for Asbestos Transportation and Disposal in support of asbestos abatement services at Lackland AFB Training Annex, Wilford Hall Medical Center (WHMC), and Camp Bullis, Texas, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). A requirements contract is contemplated, with a basic period commencing on 01 Oct 2002 or date of award, whichever is later, ending 30 Sep 02 or 12 months from the award effective date, and four (4) one-year options. Contractor is required to comply with all Federal and State EPA laws/regulations/guidelines. This action will be 100 percent set-aside for Small Business. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 562910, with a small business size standard of $12,000,000.00. Using the commercial format in accordance with FAR 12 , Request for Quote F41636-02-T-0074 will be issued electronically on 13 Sep 02. The solicitation will be downloaded to the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.eps.gov). No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors shall register at www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR can be obtained by accessing www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the 37th Contracting Squadron.
