- Description
- This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. The Government is anticipating awarding a commercial performance based contract for Washer and Dryer Services. Contractor will be required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and all other items or services necessary for Washer and Dryer Maintenance, Repair and Leasing on Lackland AFB, Lackland Training Annex, Wilford Hall Medical Center, and Kelly Field Annex. All machines will be provided to the Government as leased equipment. The period of performance for the Basic Year is 01 Oct 2002 thru 30 Sep 2003, with an additional 3 option years (01 Oct 2003 thru 30 Sep 2004), (01 Oct 2004 thru 30 Sep 2005), (01 Oct 2005 thru 30 Sep 2006). This acquisition will be made under a 100% total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 335224. The size standard is 1000 employees. A written Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on this website shortly. The estimated date of issue for the solicitation is 22 Jul 2002. The estimated due date for quotes is 26 Aug 2002. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the internet ? http://www.ccr.gov or calling 1-888-227-2423. Registration must be obtained prior to award. Once contractors have received the full solicitation package, submit written offers by mail to: 37 CONS/LGCAA, ATTN: CATHY GARCIA, 1655 SELFRIDGE AVENUE, LACKLAND AFB, TX 78236-5253. THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND CLOSING DATE FROM: 13 SEP 2002 TO: 18 SEP 2002.
