- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0142 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 421490 and small business size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order for brand name or equal for a quantity of 272 Kestral 4000 Pocket Weather Trackers. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on low price.
