- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial modified items prepared in accordance with the formatin FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Announcement constitutes the only solicitation and no other solicitation document will be issued. Solicitation No. DTCG40-02-Q-60449 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332321 and the business size is 500 Employees. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1, for acquisition of supplies from only one source when no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Mafo-Holtkamp, is the recommended source for the following reasons: (1) The Mafo-Holtkamp quick acting water-tight doors do not require adjustments for up to 8 years (2) Have reduced routine maintenance to lubrication of wedges and are guaranteed watertight with a satisfactory gasket. (3) These doors will produce a cost savings to the Coast Guard by reducing spare part outfitting and significantly reducing maintenance. Mafo-Holtkamp Reduced Maintenance Quick-acting Watertight doors in the following size and quantity: (1) Part No. C9401058, 26 x 66, Qty 2 Ea.; (2) Part No. C9401060, 26 x 66, Qty 3 Ea.; (3) Part No. C9401057, 26 x 66, Qty. 4 Ea.; (4) Part No. C9401059, Qty 1 Ea.; (5) Part No. C9401052, 26 x 66, Qty. 3 Ea.; (6) Part No. 9401053, 26 x 66, Qty. 2 Ea.; (7) Part No. C9401051, 26 x 66, Qty. 1 Ea.; (8) Part No. C9401065, 30 x 66, Qty. 1 Ea.; (9) Part No. C9401066, 30 x 66, Qty. 1 Ea.; (10) Part No. C940106, 30 x 66, 2 Ea.; (11) Part No. C9401054, 26 x 66, Qty. 1 Ea.; (12) Provisioning Technical data to include complete set of drawings and parts lists containing sufficient detail and information to develop provisioning technical documentation for APLs, Qty 1 Set. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd., Baltimore, MD 21226-5000 within 120 days after award. No part number substitutions.
