- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ F23606-02-Q-0018. This procurement is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 421830 with a 500-employee size standard. Whiteman AFB, MO has a requirement for One (1) Embroidery machine, single head 9 color industrial, Brother model BES-916AC, with computer, software, and training or equal. Delivery is requested within 30 days of contract award. Proposal shall include a delivery schedule. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable to this procurement. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror that is most advantageous to the government. The following factors will be evaluated: technical capability of item being proposed, price, and delivery schedule in compliance with the requirements of this solicitation with price being the most significant factor. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification Items with its offer. Provision/Clauses can be obtained at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/.
