- Description
- The work involves furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, taxes, and services necessary to construct a 4,912 gross square foot postal facility, as specified on USPS approved plans and specifications. The cleared 1.64 acre USPS-owned site is located on the corner of PA Route 116 and Carrolls Tract Road. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, and landscaping. The work also includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, wood structure, wood trusses and decking, roof shingles, sheet metal, masonry, wood stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, sectional overhead doors, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, fire alarm systems, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning. The estimated cost of the project is between $650,000 and $900,000 with construction completion within 180 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Award will be based on price and evaluation factors as outlined in the solicitation package. The contractor must be licensed in the state and county where the work is to be performed. Plans and specifications will be available from the printer on or about July 24, 2002, at a cost of $100 per set (non-refundable). Make check or money order payable to Duncan-Parnell, Inc.
