- Description
- Repair/Rebuild EMD engines. Provide the services of an EMD-Lagrange authorized marine service facility to perform shop and onboard inspections, overhaul, repairs, tests and updates on the equipment listed int the solicitation. Work is to be performed onboard selected MSC vessels in various locations around the world and in shop on components removed from the vessel such as power packs, pumps, turbochargers and accessory items. Sea trials will be necessary for some inspections, overhauls, repairs and tests. In order to provide emergent requirements, the contractor shall be home based within fifty (50) miles of the tidewater area in Virginia. Contract to be issued for five (5) years (base and four (4) option years beginning on or abt 14October02. Closing date: 07October02 at Military Sealift Command, Atlantic, Bldg. 242/2. A responsible offeror shall be considered eligible for award based on CCR registration. ***Closing date changed to 09/23/02 from 10/07/02
