Description
Concerns having the ability to furnish the following supplies and services are requested to give written notification, including, a telephone number for a POC to the acquisition office listed in this notice within 5 calendar days from the date of synopsis. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) Printing and Duplicating Team, has a requirement to purchase annual maintenance of RSA MIS Print Software for use with the Xerox 6135 and 6100 DocuTech printers. This procurement will have a Base Year, and four Option Years. The contractor shall provide these services as follows: (a) Assist Reclamation's System Administrators in the use or operation of the software not covered in the documentation by providing telephone consultation services Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. , excluding holidays. If Reclamations System Administrator identifies a problem which prevents the software from substantially achieving functionality specified in the documentation critical to the fundamental operation of the software by customer. (b) use good faith efforts to provide the Customer with a workaround procedure to avoid the problem or send a fix, or a corrected version of the software to the customer as soon as possible. If contractor determines that the reported problem is not critical to the fundamental operation of the software, but prevents the software from achieving the functionality specified in the documentation, contractor shall attempt to incorporate the correction of the problem in the next update. During the maintenance period, contractor may periodically provide customer with updates to the software and revisions to the documentation. Customer agrees that the License Agreement shall apply to such updates and revisions. It is the Bureau's belief that Rochester Software Associates located at 69 Cascade Drive, Rochester, NY 14614, is the only source capable in providing the annual software maintenance services based on the fact that this company has the proprietary knowledge and is the developer of MIS Print Software. This is not a formal solicitation, however, concerns that respond shall provide detailed data concerning their capabilities and may request to receive a copy of the solicitation when and if it becomes available. This notice may represent the only official notice of such a solicitation. (See Numbered Notes 2 and 22)
