- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to obtain on a sole source basis the services of SouthWest Research Institute, 6220 Culebra Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, avoidance of duplication of cost and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency?s requirements. The services are for a three month period of performance to define and perform a hazards analysis of a manufacturing process ?as is? and with Picatinny Arsenal Explosive (PAX) 2A type II material in conjunction with a new press hopper and feed shoe design. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
