General Information Document Type: Sources Sought Notice, Solicitation Number: Reference Number F04684-02-N-0002 Posted: 10 Sep 02, NAICS: 421440 Description: 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California intends to issue a sole source contract to Lumistar Company for Fieldworks Portable Data Monitoring System. ?Fieldworks 8000 with: Pentium III 500MHz, 256 MB RAM, 6 GB Hard Drive, 1024x768 Display, Windows 2000 Operating System, CD Read/Write, Lumistar LS-40-DB10 10 Mbps Daughterboard on LS-50-P PCI Multifunction Decom, Lumistar LDPS Data Monitoring Software, Air Cargo Case. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
