Description: The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering the purchase of thirty-six (36) Height Measuring Stations. this item will be used in the Air Force Air Logistics command for the calibration of bores and distances on aircraft fixtures and squareness on right angle irons. The Height Measuring Station shall be designed to measure a vertical height of 935 mm (36.8 in) from the base of the instrument. The measuring resolution shall be 0.000020 or better. The linear measurement uncertainty for the entire measuring range shall not exceed 0.0002 inch. the perpendicular measurement uncertainty for the entire measuring randge shall not exceed 0.0001/12 inches (1.7 arc sec).
