- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Canandaigua, New York is seeking a professiona= l architectural/engineering firm to perform investigative services and design complete renovation to an existing space on the first floor of Building 1 for installation of a new CT Scanner. The selected A/E Firm will also be expected to prepare a cost estimate and bid documents (contract drawings and specifications) and provide construction period services and site visits to Building 1. Successful firm will be required to coordinate design with the CT Scanner Manufacturer to ensure site prep requirements are met. The new space will include CT Scanner Room, Operators Room, Bathroom Facilities, and other minor changes. The work will include Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection (minor) and associated specialty services with Radiology reconstruction. The space to be renovated is comprised of approximately 1,500 square feet of interior space. Design to be completed within 180 days from contract award. The following evaluation criteria will be used during the A/E selection process: 1.=20 Specialized experience of the firm to perform the work required; 2,=20 Capability of the firm to perform the work required; 3. Past Performance; 4. Specific experience design team; 5. Geographic Location of the firms working office in relation to the renovation site. Firms desiring consideration must have a working office located within 100 miles of Canandaigua, New York city limits. All interested A/E firms are invited to submit 254=92s and 255=92s.
