- This modification to presolicitation notice includes actual quote opening date. Quote opening date is September 19, 2002 at 4:30 p.m. local time at place of quote opening. Work shall consist of an overlay to the existing snowmobile parking lot and existing parking for entrances. The project includes approximately 5 ton emulsified asphalt tack coat (Application Rate of .05 gal/s.f.)840 tons of asphalt concrete, 10 ton emulsified asphalt seal coat (application Rate of .10 gal/s.f.) and 46 ton aggregate base shoulder material. Project is located on the McCloud Ranger District, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Contract time: 30 calendar days. Price range: between $25,000 and $100,000. Request for Quotations will be available from this website on or about August 1, 2002. However, due to the severity of the curent fire season, funding of this project is not presently available. The Forest Service anticipates receiving additional funding before the end of the current fiscal year (September 30, 2002). This announcement is issued based on this supposition. Award of this project is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds.
