- Description
- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Fruit Fly Rearing Facility, Moore Air Base Bldg. S6418, Route 3 Box 1005, Edinburg, TX 78539-1005 intends to procure 40,000 pounds of Primary gown Nonviable Dried yeast, packaged in 50 lb. Bags. The 50 lb. bags shall be palletized at the rate of 40 bags per pallet and shrink wrapped to prevent goods from getting wet. Delivery shall be FOB destination Edinburg TX and arriving no later than Oct. 23, 2002. The contractor is to confirm delivery date with the government technical point of contact prior to shipment. This is a firm fixed price contract. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
