- 17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ)#0036855, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #01-08. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is restricted. The North American Industry Classification Code is 332420. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Nabco, Incorporated, 1501 Reedsdale Street, Suite 502, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15233. The requirements consists of the following: two (2) Nabco storage vessels, Part No. SV-23; overall height: 11'8"; overall diameter: 8'; weight: 12,500#; door clearance: 20 x 38"; The magazine must have passed and be certified as zero clearance magazine by the U.S. Navy Explosives Safety Review Board, or the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms Explosives compliance review; Plus shipping and installation charges;--Delivery 45 Days ARO--FOB-Destination, FBI, Building #9, Quantico, VA. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The following FAR clauses are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212- 4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items (Feb 2002). Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the FAR provisions at 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications- Commerical Items (May 2002) with its offer. All proposals shall be submitted to the address listed on line number seven no later than 1:30 P.M. EST, 9/23/02. All proposals shall be clearly marked with RFQ# 0036855. All offerors are hereby notified that if your proposal is not received by the date/time and at the location specified in this notice announcement, that it will be considered late/nonresponsive.
