Description

The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to award an interim Firm-Fixed-Price order to an incumbent contractor to continue providing professional support services at the NSF Reception and Information Center. This includes visitor check-in and registration, information dissemination and building and facilities related services and emergency service call support functions. The contractor will manage all activities associated with daily Reception and Information Center operations, maintain statistical data of the daily support functions and prepare accurate and complete statistical reports on a weekly and monthly basis for a 90-day period. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as implemented at FAR Part 6.303-1. It is believed that the incumbent contractor is the only responsible source that can provide these services without disrupting security and mission critical activities. This is a commercial services acquisition for a FFP purchase order. The required Period of Performance (POP) is 10/01/02 through 12/31/02.
