Description

DESC: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation F32605-02-Q-0032 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. (iv) Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 3537 (Industrial Trucks, Tractors, Trailers, and Stackers ). This is small business set aside acquisition with the Small Business Size Standard of 750 Employees each.. (v) Line Items As follows: #1 Electric Walk-Ride forklift, Specs: 8,000 lb capacity at 24 Inches load center; Width of machine 48 inches (fork o.d.); Forks: 80 inches long; lowered height: 3.25 inches; raised height: 8.75 inches; Drive tires: polyurethane; additional features: horn, hour meter, battery compartment: 33 inches x 13.5 inches x open. Elwell Parker EWP-8 Walkie Rider or Equal; Quantity: 1. #2 Battery: Exide 12E125-13; 750 Amp, 24 Volt or Equal; Quantity: 1. #3 Charger: Exide D3E-12-850 or Equal; Quantity: 1. (vi) This is a walk/ride forklift. The forks must have an outer dimension of 48". The Elwell Parker model is equipment that meets our needs, however, any manufacturer's equipment that fits the requirements will be acceptable; product literature needs to be submitted with any or equal products. More than one offer may be submitted. (vii) Delivery of line items will be 30 days after receipt of order unless otherwise specified. All materials are to be FOB destination to Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. (viii) Provision 52.212-1, Instruction Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial items applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on cost and the ability to meet the requirements. (x) Offers shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212.3 Offer Representations and Certifications - Commercial item, with its offer. As prescribed in DFAR 212.301 : b(2) paragraph (b) of this provision (52.212.3) do not apply as this combined synopsis/solicitation will contain DFAR 252-204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. Also included are DFAR 252.225-7000, 252.212-7001. xi) The clause 5252.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) The clause DFAR 252-204-7004 Required Central Contracting Registration apply to this and all future acquisitions and Clause FAR 52.232-33 Payment By Electronic Funds Transfer. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THE GOVERNMENT MAY CANCEL THIS RFQ AT ANY TIME IF FUNDS DO NOT BECOME AVAILABLE. IF FUNDS DO BECOME AVAILABLE THE GOVERNMENT WILL ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO THE VENDOR WHO SUPPLIES THE SUCCESSFUL QUOTE.
