- Description
- Project for Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) will be issued in the near future. Work will consist of a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work on real property at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, and Lake Texoma Recreational Annex. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with firm-fixed-price task orders issued using prices from the 2002 17th Annual Edition of the Facilities Construction Cost Data by RS Means (Unit Price Book). Performance period will be for one year with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the Government's option. Solicitation will be issued under multiple award procedures and two contracts will be awarded. One contract will be awarded under competitive 8(a) procedures and one contract will be awarded under full and open competition procedures. This does not preclude award of both contracts to 8(a) firms. Solicitation is open to 8(a) firms nationwide. Bid bonds will be required from all offerors including 8(a) firms. Cost of each contract will be a $50,000 minimum for the life of the contract and a maximum of $10,000,000 for the life of the contract. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be provided. Registration for the solicitation is requested once it is posted since this will be the only source of information available from which to compile a source of interested offerors. The following information is requested: company name, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, business size/type, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, DUNS number, and tax ID number. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered and current at time of award in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract.
