- UNITED STATES SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND 2002 Worldwide Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Conference "Meeting tomorrow's SOF CBRN needs.... Today" To Whom It May Concern (Attendees/Participants/Vendors): United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is pleased to announce this year's Worldwide Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Conference will be held December 2-4, 2002 at the Marriott Westshore Hotel in Tampa, Florida. USSOCOM cordially extends a special invitation to you and your company to attend the event and request reservations be made in advance to insure seating assignments and sufficient display booth space. This year's conference theme is "Meeting Tomorrow's SOF CBRN needs....Today" The conference is an ideal venue to introduce cutting edge equipment and technology that focuses on Special Operations Forces (SOF) unique requirements, unconventional needs and capabilities. If you sell to the Department of Defense or if you would like to, the conference will put you in front of an audience of buyers, military end-users and most importantly, decision-makers within the SOF CBRN community. The conference will not be open to the general public. This year?s conference fee is $75 per participant prior to Nov. 11th, $100 from Nov. 12th ? Dec. 1st and $150 on the day of event. The conference fee covers continental breakfasts, lunch on the first two days of the event, social mixer and materials. Each company vendor fee is an additional $50 and will include a 6' x 30" table and table cloth, a waste basket and two chairs. Extra booth space will be available for an additional charge. Advance reservations are required. The Marriott Westshore Hotel is this year's official conference hotel. We encourage all attendees to stay at the hotel to maximize their conference experience. The room rate is $89 plus tax for single occupancy and $110 plus tax for double occupancy. Tax exemption options will be available to government employees and government-certified contractors.
