- Description
- NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Engineering, Design, Development, Fabrication, and Test Evaluation support for a Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems Torque Motor on a Chip valve, per uploaded Statement or Work. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The NAICS Code and Size Standard are and 332912, and 499, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DOC9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 574-81810-0000-901 is on or about 09/05/02, with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 09/15/02. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
