- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) The Government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, an order to IEE, Inc. for the following items: Item 0001, Superwist LCD Module, 4 x 20 character, STN Glass, with green EL Blacklight, Part Number: 38068-01, quantity 160 each. Specifications: 1. Consisting of the following of the IEE part number 03858-01-0105 being modified with the following changes. 1) LCD face silk-screened (per customer drawing). #2) Re-routing EL leads 90 degrees level with PWB channeled out the back sealed with RTV. #3)Replace 90 degree connector with back type. 2. One time NRE charge (tooling & documentation) This synopsis incorporates some of the provisions and clauses at FAR 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions - Simplified Acquisitions. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) may be accessed at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. No "Hard Copy" of RFQ will be available. Questions regarding this synopsis should be directed to Purchasing Agent via email. Quotations must be received be received on or before COB on the closing date stated above. Numbered Note 22 applies; however, all offers received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) of the date of original synopsis will be considered by the Government. Note: 1 Also applies. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333315 and Size Standard is 500 employees. Offerors must complete and submit with their quote, a copy of FAR 52.219-1 Alt I/II, Small Business Program Representation. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required for all contractors doing business with DOD. Information to register to CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/.
