- Solicitation N00421-02-T-0184 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with HGI SKYDYNE for the part number listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The manufacturer must be HGI SKYDYNE. The contract line item numbers and description are **CLIN 0001 Quantity 80 ea P/N 74048-313 Generation III Upgrade Kit ? TRS DICP, CLIN 0002 Quantity 4 ea P/N 75048-005 Case TRS DICPP w/Gen II Upgrade Parts, CLIN 0003 Quantity 2 ea P/N 75048-005 Case TRS DICP w/Gen II Upgrade Parts. Award is expected 16 Sep 2002. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 16 Sep 2002 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
