- The National Park Service is soliciting quotations to supply and install monitor console at the Blue Ridge Music Center Amphitheater in Grayson County, VA, milepost 213 Blue Ridge Parkway. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Q5140020089 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The North American Standard Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and small business size standard is 750 employees. The FAR provisions at 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items) and 52.213-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items is applicable to this solicitation. The FAR clauses at 52.211-06 (Brand name or equal), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items) and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items) including FAR clauses 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.225-15, and 52.232-34 cited in FAR 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. The requirement is for Line Item No. 0001, supply and install monitor console to FOB destination. Delivery date is November 15, 2002 and is negotiable. The console must be equivalent to Soundcraft MH4 FOH/Monitor Console with 48 ch mono or approved brand name equal with the following features: 4 stereo channel frame with ATA console case; dual power supplies in a custom ATA rolling case; 8 group busses and 12 aux busses in FOH mode; 16 monitor busses (8 mono, 4 stereo) in monitor mode; LCR panning on inputs; integral 20X8 matrix; 8 VCA groups and 8 mute groups with snapshot automation and midi control; passive mic splitter outputs from each channel. Provide training to owners of system. Must be compatible with present wiring infrastructure.
