- NA U.S. Army U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick, Ma 01760-5011 100 psi, 600 F autoclave, Sol DAAD16-02-T-0171 due 20 September 2002, POC SANDRA SHOFF (508) 233-4126 (Site Code DAAD16). This is a combined/synopsis/solicitation for commercial item One (1) each 100 psi 600 F autoclave prepared in accordance with the for mat in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is int ended to be used for the procurement of One (1) each 100 psi, 600 F autoclave; Salient Features: Exterior dimensions: 24?x36?; Interior dimensions: 20?x24?;Operating pressure: 100 psi; Operating temperature: 600 F; Full interior insulation of shell and h eads; 1HP 220V single phase Electric heating coil; Two vacuum ports; Two thermocouple ports; Programmable micro controller for temperature and pressure; over-temperature limit. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination: U.S. Army Soldier Systems Command, Kansas St. , Natick, Ma 01760-5000. This solicitation document incorporates Far provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03 as applicable. Far provision at 52.212-1 applies. Far Provision at 52.212-4 applies and DFARS clauses listed in 252.212-7001 are attached as addenda and 52.212-5 applies and includes the additional FAR clauses: 52.212-3; 52.212-4; 52.212-2; 52.212-5; 52.219-8. DFARS Clause 252.204-7004 applies. FAR Provision at 52.212-2 applies and in accordance with paragrap h A of that clause, the following evaluation factor shall be used to evaluate offers in descending order of importance: 1. Technical (capability of the item offered to meet the Government Requirement) and 2. Price. Following the evaluation of all propo sals, the Government will select the lowest priced proposal that meets the Government specification. Written proposals required. Response time is 20 September 2002 by 3:00 P.M. EST for submission of proposals to the above contracting office. Offerors sh all include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 with its offer and certification. The applicable SIC code for this effort is 3821. For the purpose of this requirement, any concern employing 500 or fewer employees is considered a small busin ess. Firms responding to this announcement shall indicate whether or not they are a small or small disadvantaged business concern. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside.
