- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an end of year requirement. While funds are not presently available within Air Mobility Command to fund this project, if current fiscal year (FY02) funds become available, contract award will be made no later than 30 September 02. If FY02 funds are not available, this project will be funded with FY03 funds.(ii) The solicitation number is FQ4488222608 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. (iv) This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 235110 and the small business size standard is $12,000,000. (v) This requirement consists of 1 line item. (vi) Line Item 0001: Purchase one 50-ton Trane chiller or equal. Model CGAFC50E; 200 Volt 3ph, 40 to 50 degrees water set point, without ice making control; Microprocessor Control, U1/csa Approval; Unit mounted terminal block; Spring isolator Kit; Flow switch kit; Low ambient damper control, Five-year Replacement compressor warranty; (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this solicitation. (viii) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read: "Price". The contractor certifies that it can meet the delivery date by submitting a quotation. (ix) The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be attained from http://www.arnet.gov/far. (x) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government (xi) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph b of FAR 52.212-5 is considered checked and is applicable to this acquisition: (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (21) and (24). (xiv) Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration web page, http://www.ccr2000.com. (xii) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not applicable to this acquisition. (xiii) Commerce Business Daily numbered note 1 applies to this acquisition.
