- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial service. This announcement constitutes a synopsis only. This procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 422430 (size standard of 100 employees). The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supply and labor to provide milk and milk products, FOB destination, to VA Loma Linda, California, and VA Greater Los Angeles, California. Various dairy and ice cream products consist of the following estimated annual quantities: 1,750 bags of Low Fat Milk, 800 bags of Chocolate Skim Milk; 410,652 containers of Low Fat Milk, 162,800 containers of Skim Milk; 8,900 containers of Buttermilk, 3,270 containers of Low Fat Cottage Cheese, 54,900 containers of Chocolate Flavored Low Fat Milk, 27,200 pint bottles of Assorted Fruit Flavored Drink, 27,200 pint bottles of Lemon Flavored Fruit Drink, 2,000 cases of Assorted Fruit Flavored Low Fat Yogurt, 7,024 cases of Plain Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream, 70,150 cases of Fruit, Nut or Assorted Ice Cream with Chocolate; 5,000 cases of Assorted Flavored Sherbet, 2,964 cases of Cottage Cheese; 9,600 cartons of Whole Fresh Milk; 7,200 cartons of Chocolate Milk, 6,100 cartons of Cultured Buttermilk; 3,250 containers of Plain and Assorted Yogurts; 372 bottles of Assorted Flavored Drink; 20,000 lbs of Sherbet, and 400 containers of non-dairy creamer. The intended contract will be for a base period of one year with the government=92s option to extend the contract in one-year increments for four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation issue date will be on or about 1 October 2002 with proposals due on or about=20 1 November 2002 (4:00PM).
