- NSN 2010-12-347-4887, Transmission, Mechanical, Manufacturer: Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen AG (Cage D8124), Part Number BW 255. Quantity 1 each, Arrangement No. 3082 011 123 (Note: Substitute Part Numbers are NOT acceptable). FOB Destination delivery to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Warranty: Standard Manufacturer?s. Preservation: Unit to be preserved in accordance with OEM standard practice to ensure a level of protection from corrosion or damage for 3 years of warehouse storage. Packaging: Unit shall be packed individually in its own crate in accordance with ASTM-D-3951 (Packaging, Commercial). Unit shall be packaged in drying agent in accordance with TL 8100-001, packaging grade A. Quantity of drying agent calculated using DIN 55474 or TL 8100-004. Packaging shall contain a humidity gauge, which can be read from the outside of the container. Container shall be marked with NSN, Item name, part number, serial number, weight, government order number, unit of issue and condition code ?A?. Bar coding is required. All barcode labels shall be in accordance with ELC specification 4330-D-000-0100 Rev. E, Dated 7/96. The actual label shall be Type ?V? 2 composition ?B? with plastic laminate. Each label shall contain encode data for the stock number, OEM cage code, part number and order number. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 421860 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR 2002.
