- Description
- Item 1. The USDA,MSA Genomics Laboratory requires 1 each of a 96-channel liquid transfer (pipetting) system for high-throughput DNA sequencing, genotyping, plasmid preparation, and other uses. Such a system must have the following components: -12 plate or greater capacity platform -Changeable pipetting heads with 96 needles/probes and 96 disposable pipet tips -automated washing station -Optional plate stacking towers to hold 100 or more microplates -Compatible with robotic arm for re-positioning of plates -Dispensing volumes from <1ul to 200ul -Compatible with 384 well plates -Windows desktop computer with 15" monitor -Quoted system requires 100ul pipetting volume -Quoted system requires flexible needles -Upgrade capacity to 1 ml syringe volume -Upgrade capacity to 1, 8, and 12 channel pipetting heads -Upgrade capacity for bar code scanning -Dispensing precision is %CV <5 for pipetting down to 1ul -Accuracy of plate positioning is +/- 5 microns Item 2. 96-Head, 100ul syringes, duraflex needles, (1 each) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and a RFQ package may or may not be issued.
