- This modification is to change the bid opening from 4 September 2002 to 18 September 2002, 3:00 PM ET. The solicitation can be found at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The solicitation number is changed from N62467-02-R-3221 to N62467-02-B-3221. All other items remain unchanged. THIS NOTICE IS FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. The NFEC Southern Division ROICC Atlanta Area Office of Contracting is currently seeking small business contractors who will provide all labor, materials, transportation, supervision, and equipment to collect and dispose of solid waste, including the collection and disposal of garbage, ashes, debris, rubbish, and other discarded solid wastes resulting from residential, industrial, commercial, and community activities, as specified in Solicitation N62467-02-R-3221. Excluded from this function is collection and disposal of: (1) hazardous wastes, (2) solids or dissolved materials in domestic sewage, (3) other pollutants in water resources such as silt and dissolved or suspended solids, and (4) infectious/medical wastes. The resultant contract will be for a one (1) Base year and four (4) Option years. The aforementioned is not intended to be all, inclusive but rather to provide an overview of the specifications. RFP will be available on or about 1 AUGUST 2002. Plans and specifications can be obtained via internet website www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Funds are presently not available for this project. Prospective proposers are encouraged to register at the web site. This will normally be the only method of distribution of amendments, therefore it is the proposers?s responsibility to periodically check the web site for amendments to the solicitation. The official plan holders list will also be maintained on and can be printed from the web site. The NAICS CODE for this procurement is 562111with a size standard of $10.5 Million.
