- NA The US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) has a requirement for the implementation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This is a notice of intent to procure the services using GSA schedules. The contractor will be required to a ssist with the implementation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy rule and overlapping security functions within the health care organizations, the regional medical commands (9) and subordinate medical treatment facilities. Offerors shall certify that their proposal meets the following requirements: 1) Personnel are knowledgeable of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). 2) Personnel meet the qualification requirements in accordance with the Stateme nt of Work, (SOW). 3) Offeror has read, understands and can meet the timelines in accordance with the SOW 4) Personnel meet the security requirements in accordance with the SOW.
