Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National Institute on Aging, NIH, Gerontology Research Center, 5600 Nathan Shock Drive, Baltimore, MD 21224 and the Laboratory of Genetics, Triad Building, 333 Cassell, Suite 3000, Baltimore, MD 21224 both located on the grounds of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, 4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224 have a requirement for dry ice deliveries for the period 10/7/02 - 9/30/03. Dry ice in pelleted form will be delivered every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8:30 - 4:30 to the Gerontology Research Center as needed (fill both bins on loading dock). Four boxes (55 lb/box) of dry ice in pelleted form will be delivered every Monday, between 8:30 - 4:30 to loading dock of the Triad Building (labeled Lab of Genetics, Suite 3000) and two boxes (55 lb/box)will be delivered every Wednesday to loading dock of the Triad Building (labeled Lab of Genetics, Suite 3000) Delivery tickets will be signed for each shipment. Estimated usage for the year for both locations is 94,000 lbs. Please submit quotes citing price per pound.
