- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the information in Far subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N49399-02-T-0156 using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full test at these addresses: www.arnet.gov and www.acq.osd.mil. The intent of this procurement is to issue an idefinite delivery type purchase order (IDTPO) to a single contractor for this requirement. Any IDTPO awarded as a result of this solicitation does not itself order any material or obligate any money to pay the contractor only the delivery orders issued after the IDTPO is awarded actually order and direct delivery. The government shall require the awardee of the resultant IDTPO to deliver all material identified on all subsequent delivery orders (either oral confirming or written orders) issued by the purchasing Dept. of Naval Submarine Base, Groton, CT. All orders shall always be confirmed in writing using the form 1449. Sand:dry screened for snow removal .estimated quantity 1000 tons per year. With 2 option years Base period Oct 1,2002 thru Sept 30,2003 1st option year Oct 1,2003 thru Sept 30,2004 2nd option year Oct 1,2004 thru Sept 30,2005 bid all 3 years.
