- This solicitation is for informational purposes only. This is a sole source requirement to be awarded to Johnson Controls Inc. based on the following reasons. Johnson Controls is used exclusively in all HVAC control systems throughout Peterson AFB and due to copyright laws, all computer software in reference to HVAC contol systems must be purchased from Johnson Controls, Inc. Johnson's facility management systems are proprietary and copyrighted by Johnson Control's. Any other contractor performing maintenance on Johnson Control's systems must be certified by and obtain parts through Johnson Controls. The solicitation is posted for informational purposes.
