- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The procurement is for 5 each, Witchitech Hot Bonding Unit Model HB-2, Part number F4HB2005, dual zone unit with built in electric vacuum pump. Accessories include: 2 each 8?x8? heating blanket assembly, 2 each 10?x10? heating blanket assembly, 10 each 6? J tube thermocouples, 2 each 10? coiled vacuum hoses, 2 each through bag connectors, power in/out cables, and 3 year warranty. 4 each CRV-1 units shall be traded in. Item shall be delivered to Travis AFB CA no later than 27 Sep 2002. This solicitation, F04626-02-Q-0015 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-08 and DCN 20020730. The proposed solicitation listed here is unrestricted. This acquisition falls under the Standard Industrial Classification number 3479, the North American Industry Classification System 332812, and the Business Size Standard or number of employees under this code is 500. Vendor must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Overall price is the evaluation factor. The following additional FAR provisions and clauses do apply: FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and will be incorporated in the Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision completed will not be considered. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, to include clauses (b)(11),(12),(13),(14),(15),(16),(22): DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Clauses may be accessed electronically in full text through http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Quotes may be transmitted by e-mail or FAX (707) 424-2712 and are to be received at the 60th Contracting Squadron no later than 12:00 PM PST on 9 Sep 2002.
