Description
This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-08. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, RCS Enterprises. The applicable NAICS code is 334220. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure 2 ea., P/N: WIN2000-41; Noun: Audio Tracker System; ML 370G2/1.26Ghz rack-mount work station; includes; 5ru rack mountable housing, 1.26Ghz Intel Pentium III processor, 256kb integrated l2 cache memory, 256mb PC133Sdram memory, embedded NC3163 fast ethernet 10/100nic, Compaq/Adaptec 29160N Ultra 160 (u3) 1ch SCSI Controller, 1.44mb floppy disk drive, high speed IDE cd-rom drive, 500 watt power supply, WIN 2000 Professional (MS431300), rack-mount trackball-keyboard (Compaq 158649-001), rack-mount drawer for track-ball-keyboard (Compaq 338056-B21), adjustable mounting brackets for rack rails (db roberts 4180-0219XE), Matrox dual head video card (Matrox MTG228690), 17-in VGA color monitor (Viewsonics E 70 M-8), Soundblaster audio card (pci) (Soundblaster 5048321000), Soundscape Mixstreme, on-air system 2, analog unbalanced 8 in/8 out (ss8io-3), interface i/o card 24 in/out console/satellite (pci)(advantech PCLD-1751 pci), 36.4gb 10k rpm ultra 3 SCSI HDD (hot-plug)(Compaq 176496-B22), embedded U3 smart array 5I controller (Compaq 226593-B21), and security key; includes: 1-yr tracker hot-swap warranty service, 4 additional years of RCS hot swap service plan, 1 tracker software w/1 remote access license and 4ea additional remote access licenses; Pwr Rqmts: 110/220v, 50/60hz, auto switchable. Offeror's proposing to provide other than the requested items shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered items to meet the requirements listed above. All responses to this notice must make reference to quotation number MDA112-02-T-0055. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 334220, size standard 750 employees. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. In order to register, you may apply through the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/, you must include your DUNS (Dun & Bradstreet) number in order to apply. Verification of CCR registration must accompany your quote. FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, also applies, with the Government's evaluation criteria as follows: "The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of lowest price, technically acceptable items.". Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer.
