- NA United States Army, Robert Morris Acquisition Center, White Sands Contracting Division, White Sands Missile Range, NM is awarding a Sole Source fixed-priced type contract for one year plus four (4) option years, for Meal Service. The base performance peri od is 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 722310. White Sands MWR Community Club will provide meal service. In 1997, the WSMR Commanding General closed the existing consolidated dining facility due to a decline in the number of military personnel at WSMR. The facility was in need of renovation at that time and has not been utilized for troop feeding since. The White Sands Missile Range MWR Community Club is not an independent contractor ? it is a Non Appropriated Fund Instrumentality of the United States Army. Use of the MWR Community Club is authorized at remote installations such as White Sands Missile Ra nge. WSMR is located in an isolated area. It is not economically feasible to maintain a separate dining facility to provide meal services to authorized military personnel. Note 22.
