- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) F49642-02-R-0032. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.8. This is a small business set-aside. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure Full Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service for Garage Overhead / Roll-up Doors at Bolling AFB, DC. Work includess, but is not limeted to: Two inspections per year, Service Calls, Emergency Calls, and Replacement parts. The base period of performance will be from 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, with four one-year option periods. A contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the Statement of Work and provides the best value to the Government based upon evaluation of past performance and price. An award may be made to a firm offering other than the lowest price. The Government intends to award without discussions therefore, offeror's initial proposals should contain the offeror's best terms. The applicable NAICS Code is 332321 and corresponding size standard is $6.5 million. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the Electronic Posting System / Federal Business Opportunities at www.eps.gov No paper copies will be furnished. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and downloading the solitation, amendments, and all documents. Interested offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to receive a contract award.
