Harper, 830-298-5175 Services, Non-Personal: This synopsis is for PROJECTOR AND SOUND EQUIPMENT SERVICES at Laughlin AFB, TX. A written solicitation will be issued along with this synopsis at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Solicitation Number F41685-02-T-0024 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 97-27. The NIACS is 811211 and SIZE STANDARD $ 6,000,000.00. SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT: The contractor shall provide a semi-annual preventive maintenance agreement on all equipment listed in appendix 1 and 2 of the Statement Of Work (SOW). The contractor will coordinate with the Base Visual Information Manager on the date/dates in which the preventive maintenance will be performed. As a minimum the contractor shall inspect, clean, perform color correction, and alignment of all projectors listed in appendix 1 of the SOW. The contractor shall also be able to check and program the AMX system in the XL Club. The AMX system controls all operating functions of the projectors listed at the XL Club. The contractor shall at a minimum inspect, clean, and adjust all equipment listed in appendix 2 of the SOW. All systems must be free of feedback, hums, or hiss. UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT: The contractor shall provide unscheduled maintenance of all projectors listed in appendix 1 and sound equipment listed in appendix 2 of the SOW. Unscheduled trips for repair, diagnostic, replacement of equipment, or reconfiguration work will be done on a per call basis at a flat rate plus parts. The contractor will respond on site within 24 hours to perform any unscheduled maintenance. This acquisition is currently funded for FY 03 and will be awarded as a purchase order on a firm fixed price basis. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. The evaluation will be based on Price and Past Performance with the Award being made to the offeror that represents the Best Value to the government in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. All interested parties will need to submit 3 Past Performance references with their (RFQ). A completed copy of the provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercials Items will need to be submitted with any offers.
