- NOTE: All responses to this RFQ shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, 5555 E. Crossroads Blvd., Loveland,CO. 80538 8986, Attn: J1531. The Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Peninsula Engineering Solutions Inc's., Microwave Repeater. Western believes that Peninsula Engineering Solutions Inc. is the only known source to supply this Microwave Repeater. The award is to supply the following products: RF - 7000E-21 Microwave Repeater (P/N 900-0155-21) *Duplex, 1+0, configuration *Amps - Power Level 2 in one direction and Power Level 1 in one direction *Equipped with 2 internally protected amplifiers *Frequency Range 7.1 - 7.9 GHz *Operating voltage: 3.1 amps, 13.5 Vdc. *Weatherproof enclosure RMAS-120-01 Repeater Monitor and Alarm System P/N 900-0782-01 System monitors the following: *Standard Telemetry: a) A and B battery voltage, b) Battery Temperature *Standard Trip Points: c) A and B Battery Major Alarm (2),d) East and West RF output low (2), e) Amplifier Alarm, f) Waveguide pressure sensor, g) Open door alarm,h) 6 each uncommitted points, strappable GND or open = alarm. Spare Amplifier, Power Level 2 RF-7000E Repeater (P/N 090-0168-04),Photovoltaic Power System (Solar System). Provides : 7 Days Autonomy, System consists of: Photovoltaic Modules: "8 Panels" - 75 Watt Solar Module, 25 yr warranty, Array power: 600 Watts, 35.2 Amps @ 12 VDC Mounting Structure: Adjustable ground mounting structure, aluminum, stainless steel hardware. Battery Bank: Solar/Cell 12SC225 sealed gel cell battery. Charge Controller: Dual Charge Controller, 12V 16Amp w/ Battery Temp. compensation, low voltage disconnect. Battery Enclosure: Outdoor battery enclosure, filtered vents, including wiring, designed for ground or pad mounting. Array Combiner, Wiring & Lightning Arrestor:Array combiner box w/ lightning arrestor, wiring harness with flex conduit to combiner. Sparing Kit - allows for hot swapping of amps. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement by emailing or faxing (970) 461-7377 the Contracting Officer your capability statement that must include documentation that demonstrates the ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. Any information received will be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. If no responses are received within 10 days of the publication of this notice, Western will pursue a sole source contract award with Peninsula Engineering Solutions, Inc.
