- Description
- The purpose of this project is to provide complete polygon delineation and vegetation mapping for areas on the Umatilla National Forest. This project involves interpretation of historical black-and-white aerial photography from the late 1930s and early 1940s to delineate and classify vegetation conditions on no more than 1,400,000 acres within the proclaimed boundary of the Umatilla National Forest. Vegetation polygons will be delineated using the aerial photography and transferred to a digital orthophoto quadrangle in the Arc geographic information system. The polygon delineation and associated classification data will be delivered to the Government in an electronic format (computerized GIS coverages and database files). This solicitation is a multiple year Indefinite Quantities Type contract. During the period specified in FAR clause 52.216-18 Ordering, the Government will place orders totaling a minimum of $10,000.00 but not in excess of $210,000. The solicitation will be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website at www.eps.gov or you may request a hardcopy from the Umatilla National Forest by mail, phone, or fax.
