- Description
- PROJECT NUMBER LXEZ 01-1178 ? FORCE PROTECTION REPAIR AT TERMINAL, BLDG 3409 AT KADENA AFB, OKINAWA, JAPAN. Contemplate award of a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The work includes but is not limited to: eliminating public parking area, landscaping area eliminated by constructing retaining wall, berms, trees, sodding and installation of stationary and manual pop-up bollards. Install Mylar film on windows at single point entry vestibule, revolving exit doors, and exit vestibules (back of building). Replace all front window glass on the first and second floor with laminated safety glass, and perform incidental work such as excavation, backfill, and waste disposal to complete work as required. The magnitude of this contract will be between $500,000 and $1,000,000 or between ?58,640,000 and ?117,280,000. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. AWARDS WILL ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED AND AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE INVITED TO DOWN LOAD INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS PROJECT.
