- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 843100-02-Q-0031 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Clauses and provisions incorporated in this combined synopsis/solicitation are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. North American Industry Classification (NAIC) is 443111, size standard is $6.5 million. Line Item 0001 - Commercial Washer, Front Load, 32 each; Line Item 0002 - Commercial Dryers, Front Load, 34 each; Line Item 0003 - Commercial Washer, Top Load High Efficiency, 4 each; Line Item 0004 ? Freight; and Line Item 0005 ? Installation. Description: WASHERS: Color - White; Operating controls - ON FRONT OF APPLIANCE; Doors - swing open to the side versus downward; Front load heavy duty commercial, six speeds, three cycle (Reg., Perm. Press and Delicate; Water temperatures (hot/cold, warm/warm, warm/cold and cold/cold); Detergent dispenser - liquid bleach, and liquid softener; Agency approval - U.L; Electrical - 120/60/1 - 15 amp. DRYERS: Color - White; Commercial front load, heavy duty, one cycle, three temperature settings (delicate/no heat/perm. Press); Operating controls - ON FRONT OF APPLIANCE; Agency approval U.L; Electrical - 220/50/1. Equipment shipment and installation of unit will be staggered at three locations throughout the installation beginning approximately forty-five (45) days from date of posting of this announcement and every fifteen days thereafter until all equipment and installation is complete. The following clauses and provisions are applicable: Offerors must comply with FAR Clause 52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial", paragraphs (b)(c) and (f). See FAR Clause 52.212-2 - Award will be made on the basis of an acceptable offer, which is the most advanttageous to the Government. Offerors must comply and provide and executed copy of provisions at 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations and Certificatoins-Commercial Items" along with the offeror. Clause 52.214-4 "Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items" is applicable for this procurement.
