- Description
- NA DTRA plans to procure, without using full and open competition, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), a new contract for the subject effort. The purpose of this effort is to conduct research and development and formulation of improved Ti and Ti/Al l oaded energetic materials, characterizing their standard laboratory safety, mechanical, physical and processing properties. In addition, their internal, external and underwater blast performance will be measured and characterized. The FY02 contract value is anticipated to be $100,000. Research to be conducted under this contract shall be performed by Atlantic Research Corporation. Estimated date of award for this action is 30 Nov 2002.
