- Description
- Furnish all the necessary supervision, personnel, supplies, and equipment to perform shelf stocking, receiving/storage/holding area, and custodial operations for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Smokey Point Naval Station Commissary located at Marysville, Washington, in accordance with the Government's Performance Work Statement (PWS). The base period is July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004. The solicitation also includes four one-year option periods. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 561990 and the business size standard is $6 million. The work currently being performed at this site is on the Procurement List maintained by the Committee for Purchase from People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (the Committee) under the authority of the JWOD Act (41 U.S.C. 4646-48c). DeCA and NISH have been unable to reach a negotiated agreement for the required services at this site. Therefore, DeCA is soliciting commercial proposals for evaluation purposes. In the event that the Committee issues a purchase exception, an award will be made to the otherwise successful commercial offeror. The solicitation will posted in its entirety on FedBizOpps on or about September 25, 2002, with a tentative closing date on or about November 6, 2002.
